Our Commitment to Ethical, Safe ABA Therapy
Certification and Licensing of Clinical Staff
At Thrive Behavior Centers, our team is committed to providing safe, ethical and effective ABA therapy for your child. Our supervising clinicians are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs) in the state of Texas. BCBAs are required to uphold a strict, client-focused code of ethics.
Our behavior technicians are required to earn the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, which includes extra training in both ethical and safety concerns. Our BCBAs are required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to supervise our technicians for at least five percent of their therapy sessions. In addition to these requirements, Thrive Behavior Centers clinicians regularly provide ongoing staff development training for our clinicians and staff.

Handle with Care
Our clinical staff is trained in Handle With Care Behavior Management System for crisis intervention. Handle With Care teaches safe behavior interventions that are both verbal and physical. Handle With Care teaches specialized intervention techniques that are safe for early learners.
CPR/BLS Certification
Our team members are also required to obtain and maintain CPR and/or Basic Life Saving certification. In the event of a loss of consciousness, staff members will notify first responders, and staff will follow directives provided by 911 operators until medical help arrives. Staff will also notify parent/guardian(s) as soon as possible.
